The banger and the misnomer

The banger is one of the most skilled players on the court since they have the speed card on full display. The question should always be what am I giving them to constantly afford to “bang”. Is your ball always pulling them in the court and floating thus allowing them to shoot gaps or bag your body? Most of these so called “bangers” can sit and dink, so let’s go back to affordance. What are you giving them that’s allowing them to keep there foot on the pedal. Conversely let’s glance over to a set or three of the Pro tour. What most call a “bang” is a wise attack. Now of course it’s easy to call out the troublesome every ball is fast “because I can” I’m not speaking of those players. I’m talking about the tactician that can and will use their full arsenal when afforded.
